Champions Municipal Utility District (the District), your water provider, has contracted with Scohil Construction Services, LLC (Contractor) to replace the water lines in the Champions South neighborhood. Construction is expected to begin in late August 2023 and be completed by May 2024.
During construction, the Contractor will have crews installing new water lines, disinfecting and pressure testing the new water line, switching your water service from the old water line to the new water line, and performing site restoration. The Contractor will provide a 1 week notice and a 48-hour notice, via door hangers, prior to beginning work in your area. The Contractor will provide a separate 48-hour notice prior to switching your water service from the old water line to the new water line. Normal construction hours will be Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The Contractor will not perform any work on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays, without prior approval from the District.
During the project, the Contractor may park vehicles and equipment on the street in front of your home but will not block your driveway. The Contractor will have their company logo on their vehicles, picture identification on their employees, as well as a project sign nearby with the company’s contact information.
